The Ozpig is portable and is a different concept in Camp cooking.
No more bending over hot coals or a fire. No more having to lifting heavy camp ovens...making cooking a breeze.

Weighing only 17kgs and packing down to 300mmx350mmx400mm – The Portable Ozpig is made of Steel (making it an all weather unit), has 4 screwed in legs for safety and stability, 3 piece chimney (which fit into the belly when packed) – a spark arrestor ( ensuring no cinders escape when camping) – an internal fire grate and a vinyl carry bag.

Some of our customers have been known to cook that Christmas turkey outside on the Ozpig rather than heating up the kitchen!

OzPig comes with a top bbq plate and a side-warming plate and vinyl carry bag

  • Unique top plate:
    You can bbq on the top plate. Use a camp oven on the top and cook the following: stews, curries, soups, casseroles, roast meat, pizzas or cook a great damper. The heat can be adjusted by placing the diffuser under the bbq plate or directly under the cooking pot. The top plate can be removed.

  • Camp oven or Boiler.... Place a larger boiler/camp oven to sit directly above the flames (ideal for cooking that catch of crabs, prawns, Camp roast etc.

    We recommend:
    Lengths of dry timber Pre-cut roughly 50mmX 280mm long or Heat beads, Coal, Reconstituted logs, Pine cones

    ACCESSORIES:

    • Diffuser:
      The diffuser can be used to Lower the heat under the top plate (ideal for cooking fish/eggs/marinated foods
      Reduce the heat under your cooking pot (Place camp oven on top of top plate & place diffuser under the pot)
      Placed directly over the top opening to use as an element. You can cook toast or crumpets on top (medium heat recommended) Boil your billy on top.

    • Tool Rack
      (3 inter connecting rods which fit on the side of the plate providing an area for all those cooking implements when out camping)

    • Wok:
      Remove the top plate and place directly over the fire to cook fish and chips. The ideal unit to cook up a large volume of scrambled eggs or grilled onions. Can be used as a steamer.

    • Top BBQ plate
      This top plate can be pivoted away or removed (a lifting tool is supplied) Barbecue directly onto the seasoned plate. If cooking eggs or fish, place diffuser under the plate to lower the heat.

    • Side BBQ plate
      Ideal as a warming plate and depending on the level of heat inside the Ozpig chamber, it can also be an ideal location to complete foods on a slow cook (great for stews, roasts, puddings

    • Char Grill plate
      This plate also pivots and is ideal for those who like to char grill their food. Works well over the heat bead basket

    • Heat bead basket
      The heat bead basket sits inside the top of the Ozpig - ideal to use on those no naked flame days

    • Chimney Offset
      The OFFSET takes the flue away from the body of the Ozpig and gives extra space to allow for the use of large frying pans and pots.

    • Extra chimney flues - Will add to overall length of the flue

    • Rotisserie and Side Attachments
      The rotisserie is battery operated, easy to set up and use.

    • Travelling Carry Bag
      Enclosed Zipper Bag comes with internal compartments for your extra plates etc.

    • Smaller bag
      Can be used to cover existing top and side plates or grill-plate and/or diffuser (if dirty wrap in newspaper first).
