Murchison is known as the 'Whitewater Capital' of New Zealand. It is near the western end of the "Four Rivers Plain", at the confluence of the Buller River and the Matakitaki River.
Murchison Motorhome Park is a new park, bordering the Buller River, located 8 kilometres north of Murchison on State Highway 6.
We offer you spacious Powered or Non-Powered sites on a beautiful fam-like setting, with excellent facilities.
After a long day on the road, arriving at our relaxing riverside Murchison Motorhome Park will just make you feel good.
A cold glass is waiting in the fridge for your wine or beer, a soothing stroll through native bush and down to the river to stretch those legs and just watch the Buller River flow on past.
Perhaps a swim or a quick flick with the fly rod to catch your dinner, and then cooked on the barbeque. There may even be some salad greens fresh for you to pick from the garden. Then stay for a few days and enjoy all that the greater Murchison area has to offer. From full on adventure activites to wholesome family fun.
