Alexandra is a great place to visit in all 4 seasons. The town is thriving with viticulture and wine making and has many historic sites from Central Otago's formative years of the Gold Rush. Alexandra is located approx. 1hr drive to Queenstown, Arrowtown, Wanaka, Ranfurly, Naseby.
Alexandra Holiday Park is ideally situated for a rest stop, and provides a sheltered terraced area on the Manuherikia riverbank. You can easily walk to the town centre where there are a variety of cafes, restaurants and shopping options.
Our accommodation options include Cabins, Tourist Flats and Self Contained Units, together with 400 Powered sites for Caravanners and Campers.
We offer excellent facilities for our guests, including Internet access, TV Room, Spotless amenities and laundry and Playground. You can enjoy swimming in the river in the summer months. Our shop is open during December and January only.
Alexandra is noted for a fine, hot summer and crisp fine winter, and is a haven for walkers and bikers. The rail trail is only metres away, plus many other tracks including many 4WD trails for enthusiasts to enjoy in the area.
4WD trails permeate the surrounding foothills and mountains, we have plenty of safe off-road parking for vehicles.
