Golden Grove Holiday Park is located 7 km from the base of the Mount and 7 km from Papamoa.
It’s a great starting place to discover the diversity of the area and the wider Bay of Plenty.
Golden Grove Holiday Park is a well sheltered, centrally located holiday park in Mount Maunganui, and is a fantastic place for your active or relaxing beach holiday. Our own beach access provides a welcome alternative to Mount Maunganui’s main beach. It is a lot less crowded, providing a relaxing and laid back atmosphere.
From Golden Grove Holiday Park you can walk to the beach (200 m) and the Bayfair Shopping centre (300 m) and it is only a short drive to downtown The Mount and to Papamoa.
The central location makes our Golden Grove Holiday Park an ideal base if you would like to explore the wider Bay of Plenty. Rotorua and Whakatane for instance, are just an hours drive away.
Golden Grove Holiday Park has a range of near new accommodation to suit all needs and budgets including wheelchair accommodation and disability friendly facilities. The camp sites at Golden Grove Holiday Park are flat, nicely grassed, spacious and sheltered. Some sites have water and grey water disposal facilities.
We have a high standard of cleanliness throughout the park. While camping at Golden Grove Holiday Park, you can use and enjoy the fully equipped camp kitchen, the BBQ and outdoor dining area, the laundry, immaculate ablution block, recreation and TV room, pool table and the playground which is particularly suitable for small children under 10 years of age.
It is a great place to stay for families and independent travellers, and school or sports groups are also very welcome.
