Paparoa Village in Northland is nestled in a peaceful valley on a headwater of the mighty Kaipara Harbour, an hour and a half drive North-West of central Auckland. Paparoa is a popular hub for villagers, farmers and artisans of all types.
Paparoa hosts the exciting Northland leg of the World Rally Car Championships every year, attracting around 20,000 visitors to the town.
Paparoa Motor Camp is set in a quiet rural area within walking distance to the picturesque village, and just a five-minute drive from the Pahi waterfront, boat ramp and the famous Matakohe Kauri Museum.
Our camp is located right on the highway and is small, quiet and peaceful with comfortable and clean accommdoation and facilities, and a friendly, helpful welcome is assured! Ideal for an overnight stopover, or for an affordable longer stay!
Our Paparoa accommodation options include airconditioned Park Motels with all linen provided and one hour free WiFi Internet access, Sleeping cabins with TVs, and Overnight Vans. Spacious Powered and Non-Powered tent and campervan sites are also available. Large rigs welcome!
A range of facilities, such as a communal kitchen, free hot showers, access facilities, TV lounge, laundry, WiFi internet, free local phone and phone cards, rubbish recycling, and dump station are available.
