Rescuers found Bean Bag shot five times and left to die. The Wombat Awareness Organization is now planning to put together “Wildlife Watch’ – a community group of volunteers working together to catch wildlife cullers. Help is needed click www.wombatawareness.com to check what can be done to save wombats like Bean Bag.
A Wombat Awareness Organisation source said today that rescuers had reports from the local Murray lands, South Australia community - "about the amount of city folk killing wildlife on the weekends. The community wants to band together to put a stop to all of the wildlife culling", the WAO source said.
