Family Parks crosses The Ditch for first caravan parks International Conference

Family Parks learn the Haka

Family Parks of Australia and Family Parks New Zealand reinforced their alliance at what GoSeeAustralia believes is the first International Conference held by an Australia/New Zealand caravan park chain

The friendly FPA Chain held its annual conference in Rotorua. GoSeeAustralia’s Managing Director Graham Wallace and partner Michele joined the conference and spent three weeks gathering information for a new venture a GoSeeNewZealand website from the start of September. Graham and Michele used a Kea camper as their base.

There was of course a “traditional” Haka which included FPA’s Aussie members. Despite their best efforts no warfare followed, in fact the New Zealand hospitality was outstanding. Family Parks members and GoSeeAustralia found the conference a great learning experience.

A Plan Your Trip feature has been added to the Family Parks website by GoSeeAustralia’s “mother company” ContACT and conference delegates on both sides of “The Ditch” worked to establish the accuracy of this touring feature.

Patricia and John Dobosz of White Rock Tourist Park, Cairns won the $990 GoSeeAustralia advertising package Level 6 enhancement for 12 months  and they took advantage  of GoSeeAustralia's mapping facility. GoSeeAustralia is working on a "Look  at  us Now"  feature as  a follow up to the support feature we carried after cyclone Larry. It is scheduled for release before the QParks conference in November.

Tony and Joanne Gangemi of Banksia Tourist Park (WA) told GoSeeAustralia they regard the New Zealanders as “Troopers”

“What a fantastic country and what a great bunch of people those New Zealanders are”, they said.

“Thanks to anyone else that put the hard yards, everything was fantastic” Tony and Joanne said.

Chris, Jon and Steven from Albury All Seasons Tourist Park (NSW) are of the same mind, but they seem to have done better than most.

Here’s what they have to say about the first Caravan Park International in New Zealand – “Wow!” “What a great conference and holiday”.
